Andrew Bell grew up playing soccer in San Jose and played competitively at Santa Clara Sporting and Sunnyvale Alliance. He was the starting varsity goalkeeper at Cupertino High School for all four years and received the 1st Team All League award during his sophomore year. After graduating he played for the competitive adult league Peninsula Soccer League. From 2013 to 2016, Andrew played in Portugal. He continues to play competitively in our area as much as he can.
Andrew has coached since 2013 in competitive club soccer. He holds a NSCAA National Diploma and currently furthering his coaching education to obtain his advanced national diploma.
Andrew’s coaching philosophy focuses around creating a fun positive learning environment where players can express the love for the game by using their creative thinking when having the ball. He believes that every player should start practice with a ball at their feet working on different types of technical skills. He is enthusiastic to pass on his knowledge and passion for soccer to the next generation of players. Andrew values strong work ethic, coachability, and positive attitude in his players.
