Leo Krupnik



Playing experience

Leo moved to the US from the Ukraine when he was in his teens. He played soccer for the San Francisco Vikings and got recruited to play at UC Berkeley. He then went on to play professional soccer in the US and Israel. In 2003 his team won the United Soccer League and in 2009 they were Israel Premier League Champions. 

Coaching experience

Leo holds a UEFA "A" License and received his degree in social welfare and education. Leo has been coaching throughout his professional playing career. Besides coaching at Alpine Strikers, he is the Menlo-Atherton High School boys varsity coach. 

Coaching philosophy

There is not a right or wrong way to coaching. Every player and team needs a different approach and Leo makes sure he adopts to the situation. His main goal is to make his players better players on the field and raise their awareness of how to be an all-around athlete and a good person on and off the field.
